Universal Camera Corporation of New York launched the Cinemaster II in 1946, and it sold approximately 65,000 units in the months that followed. The company was gone by 1952.

The camera carries that history in its design: zinc alloy body with Art Deco chrome ribbing, clockwork spring-motor drive, Univar f/2.5 fixed lens. Regular 8mm โ Double-8 โ film remains available from specialty suppliers. The Art Deco ribbing is undamaged, nameplate dial is crisp with no corrosion, lens appears clear. Spring motor not tested. Comes with the original carry case and a brown leather wrist strap.
Condition: Untested, sold as-is. Clean with minor age-appropriate wear. Included: Camera with original carry case and brown leather wrist strap. Price: $22 CAD. Pickup preferred; shipping available.
Universal Camera Corp. was out of business by 1952. The Cinemaster II is what survived.
